to the swoopy "Ultra Aerodynamic" 2k1 Vette Aero Roadster

2k-2 Vette Aero Roadsters are only 57-1/2" wide at the front spindle centerline and 67-1/2" at the rear axle centerline

Another AFC "Home Run" is the "Ultra" aerodynamic 2K-2 Vette "Aero" Roadster. This body is much more aerodynamic than the '27's,30 series or even the '63 Vette Roadsters. This "swoopy" Vette body is easily fitted to many existing roadster chassis, providing you, the racer with an easy way to update your current combination.

More consistent E.T.'s, more MPH and increased resale value easily make this operation well worth while. This great body style has been modified to eliminate all the disadvantages that a stock Vette body has in the past presented to the builder and still retains its classic lines & looks.

These design modifications consist of moving the rear wheel opening C/L back 2", allowing "Pro" 4-link dimensions, which also allows the driver to sit in the correct position with plenty of leg room. The tops of the quarters are raised and recontoured for maximum clearance for even the biggest tires, yet still retains a low overall height of the finished car. Even with these modifications it still retains the soon to be classic looks of a 2K-2 Corvette. Only a purist could tell the difference! Unlike the 2K-3 Vette "AERO" Roadster, which is designed to replace cars with Aero 27 bodies such as the 63 Vette Aero Roadster and 2K-3 Mustang Aero Roadster are designed to be custom built to your chassis tread width & chassis specifications.

Due to so many various tread widths, wheel bases, and driver location, AFC/Suncoast decided it was best to custom build the 63 Vette and 2K-3 Mustang Aero roadsters to the racer/builders specification needs (The 30 Series Aero Roadsters are done the same way, where as the 33 Dodge "Aero" has easy modified "Aero" dimensions).

Therefore you get just what you want and need, an "exact fit" Body, tailored or to your chassis or specifications, all of these bodies offer the same advantages and benefits as the Standard Series Roadsters Bodies.
